Terms of use

Sportle is a free, independent fan-made trivia game provided "as is", for entertainment only. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any athlete, team, league, governing body or by Wikipedia/Wikimedia.

Athlete names are used only to identify the subject of each puzzle (factual, editorial use). No official league logos or team emblems are used. Photos are used under their free licenses and credited on the photo credits page.

Fair play

Don't use offensive or impersonating nicknames, don't post fake results, and don't try to disrupt the service. We may remove nicknames, results or leagues that break these rules.

League photos: only upload a picture you took yourself or have the right to use, with nothing offensive, sexual, violent or hateful, and no photo of someone who hasn't agreed to it. We may remove any league photo. To report one, write to [email protected] with the league code.

Takedown requests

Rights holders who want a photo or name removed can write to [email protected]; we respond promptly.

We may change or discontinue the game at any time.
